Sharing the power of fitness and community

With years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry under their belt, upon entering motherhood Ren and Jen were shocked about the state of the fitness industry and what was on offer to mums. Ren and Jen realised they could combine their passion and expertise to lead the change they wanted to see in the New Zealand fitness space. More real talk, simplified messages, achievable goals – and more fun.

As their brand grew and their focus shifted they rebranded to She Moves in 2020 to better reflect their focus, and their passion for women's health, pre and postpartum exercise. The team has now expanded to form an exceptional team of five qualified and professional Fitness Trainers, as well as a nutritionist.

At She Moves, our mission is to create a programme full of variety that caters for all women. A progressive pathway for women to be able to heal postpartum, return safely to exercise and get to where they want to be.

Renee and Jenna are both full-time mothers, with five young children between them, and value sharing their motherhood journey with their community.

  • Holistic Health Coach, Integrative School of Nutrition

  • Safe Return to Exercise Certified

  • Certificate in Nutrition for Fertility, Pregnancy and Lactation

  • Certificate in Pregnancy and Exercise for Optimal Outcomes

  • Certificate in Exercising after Pregnancy for Optimal Outcomes

  • Girls Gone Strong Women’s Coaching Specialist Certification (Currently completing)

  • REPs registered PT

  • Former International athlete

  • Mum of two preschoolers

Jen’s qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching

  • Certificate in Pregnancy and Exercise for Optimal Outcomes

  • Safe Return to Exercise Certified

  • Pelvic Floor For Fitness Professionals

  • Certificate in Exercising after Pregnancy for Optimal Outcomes

  • Former Physical Education & Health Teacher

  • REPs registered PT

  • Mum of three preschoolers
